Sparks

Sparks is the teen girl survival guide for coping with daily life, feeling empowered, and planning a successful future. Our goal is to empower teen girls by providing support during the challenges of daily life, information about opportunities in the world, inspiration for positive choices, and preparation for a successful and happy future. Along with the guidance of guest speakers, the girls participate in group discussions, tips, and activities designed to raise self-esteem and visualize goals.

Program Details
Sparks takes place on the first and third Wednesday of every month. Each month we will address a new topic. The first meeting of the month will consist of an ice breaker activity, group discussion, snacks and a take-home challenge for the girls. The second meeting of the month will involve a professional or qualified guest speaker who will address the topic in depth as girls share personal stories and results of their challenges. This group is for girls’ ages 13-18. Any girls younger than this will need parent permission.

Check out our online program calendar for dates, times, and topics of each Sparks meeting.

If you have any questions please contact Carolyn Van Dyne who is the leader and founder of this program.
