Hey, adults!  The sun is out, and it's finally time for Summer Reading 2017.  This year, don't let kids have all the fun.  This year, our theme is Build a Better World.  We have plenty of prizes, programs, and more to help you get the maximum enjoyment out of your library and your summer.  Check it out!

Building Balance: Chair Yoga
Three Tuesdays: June 13, June 27, July 11 - 4:00-5:00 PM
Enjoy the benefits of yoga without worrying about flexibility.  Please plan to attend all three sessions.

DIY Hummingbird Feeders
Wednesday, June 21 - 5:00-6:30 PM
Get creative with paint, a wine bottle, and some wire!  Materials are limited, so please call or stop by the library to sign up if you plan to attend.

Grant Writing Workshop
Thursday, June 22 and Friday June 23 - 8:30 AM-4:00 PM
Join Dr. Phil Atkins of the Union County Mental Health and Recovery Board for two full-day sessions on everything you need to know about writing grants.  Please plan to attend both days, and register at www.mhrbuc.org.

Heroin: A Community Conversation
Thursday, June 29 - 6:00-7:30 PM
Learn about the heroin epidemic in Ohio, and get tips to help neighbors, loved ones, or yourself.  Join us for an informational session followed by Q&A with experts working in treatment and recovery here in Union County.

Wine 101: Presented by Bokes Creek Winery

Learn all about wine from those who make it!  You'll also paint a wine glass to take home and enjoy.

Knitting 101 for Beginner Adults
Monday, July 17 - 5:30-6:30 PM
Drop in for a no pressure class for absolute beginners.  We'll even provide needles and yarn!  Experienced knitters are also welcome.

Build an Emergency Kit
Wednesday, July 19 - 5:00-6:00 PM
Do you have what it takes to get through a disaster?  Learn how to put together an emergency preparedness kit with an expert from the Union County EMA.

Building a Strong Financial Future
Monday, July 24 - 5:00-6:30 PM
Retirement, college costs, estate planning, oh my!  Stop in for financial strategies for age 45 to retirement.  Presented by Richwood Bank.

Coffee and Canvas
Friday, August 4 - 5:00-7:00 PM
Enjoy an evening of painting with friends!  We will provide paint, canvas, and a laid-back atmosphere.  Not to mention, coffee!
